I've got bloody vendors onsite most of tomorrow, so you all will have to save the world without me. My fate rests in your capable hands.

    Memory Lane
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Answers screened by default. If you don't mind them being posted, let me know and I'll unscreen them.

EDIT: 6/11/08 9:17 am: Most of you haven't said to unscreen so I've left them for my eyes only. I have to say though that I'm truly blessed. You've all been so kind, and brought back so many happy memories. Cricket's even made me cry. Thank you.

    Picnic in the Park
The weather is warming up now, and I'd like to go back to a monthly "Picnic in the Park", over at the Farmers Market Park. My days are fairly flexible, lunchwise, so what days are best for the rest of you? Those of you that are students might want to keep in consideration your Spring Quarter schedule, since finals are rapidly approaching.

    Get your vote on
Just a reminder to most of you - tomorrow's the big day. Regardless of your political affiliation, I'd like you all to research the candidates and issues, then vote your conscience. If you don't vote, you have no right to bitch after the election.

    And what shall you do?
I've just been reminded that I haven't asked my favorite question in a while, with a subtle jab to get on it already.

So what will you do this week to make the world a better place?

    How do you define evil?
The American Heritage Dictionary defines it like this:

    e·vil (ē'vəl)
    adj. e·vil·er, e·vil·est

Morally bad or wrong; wicked: an evil tyrant.
Causing ruin, injury, or pain; harmful: the evil effects of a poor diet.
Characterized by or indicating future misfortune; ominous: evil omens.
Bad or blameworthy by report; infamous: an evil reputation.
Characterized by anger or spite; malicious: an evil temper.

    n.
The quality of being morally bad or wrong; wickedness.
That which causes harm, misfortune, or destruction: a leader's power to do both good and evil.
An evil force, power, or personification.
Something that is a cause or source of suffering, injury, or destruction: the social evils of poverty and injustice.

    adv. Archaic

Please remember folks, there are a lot of folks out there in pretty bad shape. If you can afford to help out, please do. If you were planning on something for any of the residents of Casa Satyr, please donate to one of our local charities instead.

    PSA 2 - Adopt a Senior
I know I normally advocate STEAC for holiday adoptions, but a single senior would be a lot more affordable. I'm going to ask you all now, those of you who are planning on giving me a present (looks pointedly at Cinnicat) to adopt a senior in my name instead. Really, I don't need anything and these folks do.

    Head aches
For some reason, I can't seem to shake this headache. It hurts at the temples (unusual for me). I managed to make it through the game yesterday (thanks EvilPheemy) and through today's obligations (water store, Blockbuster, library) but that's about as good as it gets. I'm hydrated, I'm rested, and I don't have any other symptoms.

< geek > Actually, it feels remarkably like a psionic attack. </ geek > That generally means that someone out there is very unhappy. Chime in if there's something I can do.
